Start Speaking Japanese —
From Your First Lesson

Group classes, private lessons, and JLPT exam prep — all taught by
native Japanese instructors in central Bangkok.

The challenge

Japanese feels hard.
It doesn't have to stay that way.

Most people try an app. They learn a few words. They still can’t hold a real conversation.
Japanese has three writing systems — and figuring out where to start on your own is genuinely confusing.

The problem isn’t you. It’s that most resources teach about Japanese instead of helping you speak it.
At GEOS, you practise real conversation from day one — with a native instructor who corrects you in the moment,
and classmates who keep you motivated.

Whether you want to communicate in Japan, work with Japanese-speaking clients, or pass
the JLPT — we’ll build you a structured path that actually works.

Your instructors

Meet your Japanese teachers

All our Japanese instructors are native speakers with formal teaching qualifications.
You’ll learn real, natural Japanese — the way it’s actually spoken.

Midori Tsubata (From Japan)

Midori has been teaching Japanese for nearly two decades across Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines. She holds a degree in International Cultural Studies from Kyushu Sangyo University and completed the 420-hour Japanese Language Teacher Training Course at Washington Foreign Language Institute.

Her experience includes teaching at Maejo University, Imperial Malaysia Japanese Language School, JFE Techno Manila, and King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology, Ladkrabang. A former JICA volunteer, Midori is passionate about cultural exchange and education. Her lessons combine professionalism, warmth, and global perspective — helping students not only learn Japanese but also appreciate its culture.

Yuki Kawasumi (From Japan)

Yuki has been teaching Japanese since 2017 in Japan and Taiwan. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Meiji University and passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test in 2016.

His experience includes teaching at language schools in Tokyo, working as a full-time instructor in Tainan, Taiwan, and providing online lessons to international students. He has taught learners from beginner to advanced level, both in small group classes and one-to-one settings.

Yuki’s teaching motto is “fun and usable Japanese.” His lessons focus on conversation and real-life application, helping students actively use what they learn. He designs his own visual materials, incorporates role play and practical speaking tasks, and creates a relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable speaking.

In addition to textbook content, Yuki introduces natural expressions, cultural topics, and everyday communication styles that students are genuinely curious about. With experience teaching in Japanese, English, and Chinese, he brings flexibility, cultural awareness, and a global perspective to every class.
