Learn Japanese in Bangkok

Why Study Japanese in Bangkok?

Tokyo is an exciting place to learn, but it is also expensive. Rent, food, and school fees add up quickly. Bangkok offers the same Japanese language education at a fraction of the cost. You can live comfortably here, enjoy Thailand’s famous lifestyle, and save money while learning.

Our school is based in the Asoke area, right next to Phrom Phong and Thong Lor — some of the most popular areas for the Japanese expat community in Bangkok. With more than 50,000 Japanese expats in Thailand, you will be surrounded by Japanese restaurants, shops, and opportunities to meet new people. This makes it easier to use Japanese in everyday conversations and experience real Japanese culture while living abroad.

Cost Comparison: Tokyo vs Bangkok

Studying Japanese in Tokyo can cost 700,000 to 1,000,000 yen per year (around 315,000 – 450,000 THB). Most schools also require full upfront payment, which makes it a big financial commitment — and a risk if you are not sure how long you will continue studying.

At GEOS Thailand, tuition for one full year is just 55,000 THB — less than a quarter of what you would pay in Tokyo. Even better, you can split the fee into three manageable installments: 27,000 THB, 14,000 THB, and 14,000 THB.

This way, you can begin learning Japanese without the pressure of large upfront costs. Combined with our ED visa support, small class sizes, and flexible schedules, GEOS offers a safe, affordable, and practical path to mastering Japanese.
